Currently, a full-time dance teacher for the Little Rock School District (Pulaski Height Middle School) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Lakeisha has trained under the likes of C. Michael Tidwell, Dorothy "Dot" Callenan, Joe Terry and Kathryn Mijeska. She has trained with the Centre for the Dans Arts (Little Rock), Universal Dance Association (Memphis) and Baton Rouge Ballet Theater of Louisiana. She has earned her Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Arts with Theatre/Dance emphasis form the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In the past 20 years, Lakeisha has taught, facilitated and choreographed for several organizations across the state of Arkansas. In 2011 she was asked by Henderson State University to be guest choreographer for the school's dance company. Her most recent project was being the production choreographer for the Arkansas Medical Doctors and Pharmacists Association annual scholarship benefit. She continues to live her passion and share her gift daily with students of the public school system. She looks forward to what lies ahead for her in future projects and is looking to expand her works nationally and internationally.
