I sleep, eat and breathe dance. I started to learn Bollywood dance at the age of 4. Once I moved, my mom was looking for a new dance teacher. While she was looking, she enrolled me in Ballet, Hip-Hop and Jazz dance classes. At the age or 6 or 7, I started to learn Bharatanatyam, which is an Indian Classical dance from Kalanjali School of dance. I have learned Bharatanatyam from 9+ years. Through those years I have performed at various events, participated in my dance school recitals, and competed in many dance competitions. On July 22, 2012, I had my Bharatanatyam Arangetram, which is an Indian Classical dance graduation. Arangetram literally means ascending the stage. I have also competed in my high school talent show and won first place. The following year, I did an opening performance and was a student judge. I have also performance several dances for my school's annual South Asian Club show over the past years.
