Michelle began dancing at the age of 2 with the Art of Dance in Chester, N.J. She joined their competition dance team at the age of 6. When she was 9, she began taking classes at North Jersey School of Dance Arts under the direction of Christine Taylor and Luba Gulyaeva. She danced her dream role of Clara for the New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet at the age of 10. The following year, she was honored to be cast as Clara for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, T.N. She won the National Title of Miss Mini Onstage New York in 2010 and the Junior National Title of Miss Starpower in 2011. In 2011, her solo “Pretty Good Year” won first place at several regional dance competitions including: Jump, American Dance Awards, Youth America Grand Prix, Starpower, Dance Xplosion, and the Youth Dance Festival of New Jersey. In 2012 her contemporary solo “The Rain” placed first overall at various dance competitions including: Adrenaline, Co. Dance, VIP, Dance Xplosion, Turn It Up, and National Dance Showcase. Also in 2012, she placed in the top 12 at NYCDA Nationals and the top 10 at The Dance Awards. She models dancewear for Costume Gallery and A Wish Come True.
