Jaylen De’Angelo Clay is a 19-year-old growing choreographer, dancer, artist and native of Mableton, Georgia. He has been dancing since age three or as his mother would say "My boy has been dancing since he was in the womb." Since then Jaylen has been technically training in several genres of dance including: hip hop, salsa, modern (The Horton and Limon Technique), jazz, ballet, Latin (ballroom/swing), tap and contemporary dance for three years now. He attends The University of the Arts as a sophomore where he majors in dance. Jaylen strives for the best in life; he desires to become a professional choreographer/dancer. Jaylen continues to excel in the Performing Arts due to his dedication and hard work. While attending The University Jaylen takes full advantage of his time there choreographing in the studios, taking extra dance classes and focusing on strengthening his technique as an artist. Studying at such a prestigious school, Jaylen gives credit to all of his instructors and mentors from back home and at The University of the Arts dance faulty. Jaylen believes that his future is not cast just yet, but hopes to become one of the greatest choreographers of all time in his generation and to dance in all genres of dance before creating his own company.
